May 28 - The Cressona Band
Kicking off the series with a blend of classical music, overtures, and contemporary band music, The Cressona Band will bring a refined and timeless touch to the platform. Sponsored by Shafer’s Pharmacy, this performance is sure to be an evening of sophisticated melodies.

June 5 - Jason Kuhla
If you love acoustic classic rock, country, oldies, blues, and more, you won’t want to miss Jason Kuhla. This versatile performer will cover a wide range of genres, creating the perfect mix of nostalgia and timeless tunes. Sponsored by LCCC Tamaqua, it’s a great way to kick off the summer!

June 12 - Free Range Folk
For fans of world-class folk music, Free Range Folk brings together virtuoso musicians who will mesmerize you with their harmonious sounds. This talented group will deliver an unforgettable evening of folk music, sponsored by Explore Schuylkill.

June 19 - Another Side
Get ready for a night of classic rock! Another Side, a 5-piece band, will take you on a musical journey through the 60s, 70s, and 80s with vocal-oriented rock hits. Sponsored by Tamaqua Station Restaurant and Bowe & Odorizzi Law Offices, this concert promises to be a fun, upbeat night!

June 26 - Tom Storm
With unique, folk-influenced singer-songwriter music, Tom Storm brings a refreshing and engaging performance. His heartfelt lyrics and powerful melodies will captivate the crowd, with sponsorship from Northeast PA Settlement and Holman & Pitts Law.

July 3 - Island Time & Waiting for Eyes
Celebrate the 4th of July weekend in style with Island Time and Waiting for Eyes! This duo promises a fun-filled evening of tropical vibes and rock music to get everyone in the party spirit. Sponsored by Victory Fuel Company, this is the perfect kickoff for your summer festivities.

July 17 - Tom Acker
Looking for a night of acoustic party-time hits? Tom Acker will deliver a collection of your favorite tunes, creating a lively, upbeat atmosphere for all ages. Sponsored by Vince Boyle Team, Re/Max, this is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing Thursday evening with some great music.

July 24 - Catch 23
Catch 23 will bring some of the best rock hits to the platform. With their signature sound, this band will have you rocking out to popular rock anthems all night long. Sponsored by Explore Schuylkill, it’s going to be a fantastic evening for rock lovers!

July 31 - Hatter
Known for their energetic performances of pop, rock, dance hits, and original songs, Hatter is sure to get everyone moving and grooving. Sponsored by Professional School Photography, this performance will keep the good times rolling all evening long.

August 7 - M&J Big Band
If you love big band and jazz, M&J Big Band is the show for you. This 18-piece ensemble will fill the air with the sounds of classic jazz and big band hits that will transport you back to the golden age of swing. Sponsored by Tammy Sword Realty LLC, it’s a night of timeless music you won’t want to miss.

August 14 - Supersonic Godfathers
Get ready for a night of popular rock with Supersonic Godfathers. This talented group will cover all your favorite rock hits, guaranteed to get you on your feet and singing along. Sponsored by St. Luke’s Miners Campus, it’s going to be a high-energy evening of great music!

August 21 - Jay Smar
For something uniquely local, Jay Smar brings his traditional American folk music, deeply rooted in the coal mining history of Northeast Pennsylvania. Sponsored by Mauch Chunk Trust Company, Jay’s performance will tell the story of our region through song and rich storytelling.

August 28 - Ricky and the Ricardos
Closing out the series with Ricky and the Ricardos, this band will be playing songs you didn’t even know you wanted to hear! With a wide range of hits, expect the unexpected, and be ready to dance! Sponsored by Hollenbach Home Comfort Services, it’s the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable summer of music.

What to Expect:

Each Thursday evening, we’ll be transforming the Tamaqua Station Platform into a lively music venue where you can enjoy high-quality performances from talented local musicians. The best part? The concerts are completely free to attend!

  • Food Trucks: Most dates will feature delicious food trucks, so you can grab a bite while enjoying the show.

  • Bring Your Own Chair or Blanket: Come comfortable and enjoy the music from the lawn.

  • Family-Friendly Fun: These concerts are the perfect outing for friends, family, and neighbors.
